rock Rock Cave Temple at Fa-Hsiengala
Wiew of the Rock at Fa-Hsiengala Fahiyangala is connected with the exploring Chinese prist Fahiyan who visited Sir Lanka in 5ht Century A.D. It is considered that Revarand Fahiyan stay in this place. But considerable factor have not been revealed to prove this .This cave situated about four hundred (400) meters above the see level, is about 150 feet in height and 175 feet in breath and the depth is 280 feet . This is the biggest natural cave identified in Sri Lanka .By an experiment carried out during the period 1986 to 1987 it has been revealed that this cave is about 38000 years old. The important of the place it enhanced as stone implements, remains herbs taken for food are found.
