Moonstone at the entrance of Lankatilaka Polonnaruwa
The Lankatilaka has a height of 17,5 meters, is 52 meter long and has a wide of 18 meters. The Lankatilaka is an image house. Inside the Lankatilaka there is a statue of Buddha is situated. Unfortunately this Buddha statue is headless.
The Lankatilaka is situated together with the Baddhasima Passada and the Kiri vihara on the Alahana Parivena complex.
